- What are requirements for opening account with ACLEDA Bank?
- For individual
- For Cambodian, customer must have any of the requirements below:
- Cambodian identification card,
- Passport which is valid for at least 3 months,
- Family book (for family member, attach other documents with portrait),
- Residential book (attach other documents with portrait), or
- If customer doesn't have any of the above documents, he/she must have residential document certified by local authority (with portrait)
- For Foreigner, customer must have passport which is valid for at least 3 months
- For Cambodian, customer must have any of the requirements below:
- For corporate/organisation
Customer must has the below documents:- Account holder's ID card/passport;
- Memorandum and articles of association;
- Business registration certificate;
- Authorisation form;
- Other documents (if available).
- For individual
- What is the initial deposit for opening account with ACLEDA Bank?
- For Savings Account and Demand Deposit: the initial deposit only USD10; or KHR40,000 (KHR10,000 for Cambodian currency savings account only); or THB400
- For Current Account: the initial deposit only USD100; or KHR400,000; or THB4,000
- How does ACLEDA Bank pay interest to me?
ACLEDA Bank pays interest daily and automatically credited into your account every month.
- Can I close the account before the agreed date?
Yes, you can close the account before the agreed date.
- If I lost my Savings Passbook, what I need to do?
You need to inform the ACLEDA Bank nearest to you.
- If I have an account with ACLEDA Bank in Phnom Penh, can I withdraw at any provincial/town?
Yes, you can, but you have to pay local transfer fee.
- What I need to do if my issued cheque is lost?
Please inform any ACLEDA Bank office nearest to you about the lost cheque to prevent the cheque from being cashed.
- As for cheques issued by other bank and cash at ACLEDA Bank, how long it need to be cashed?
- If bank cheques received by 8:30 a.m, it is due to be cashed in the afternoon of the same day.
- If bank cheques received later than 8:30 a.m, it will be due in the following working day.
- Can I deposit cheques issued by other bank in Phnom Penh into any ACLEDA Bank branch?
Yes, you can.

- What is Trust Account for Real Estate?
Trust Account for Real Estate is a restrictive account margin of ACLEDA Bank that customer can deposit his/her funds into this account in order to let ACLEDA Bank maintains and makes payment to beneficiary (seller) accordingly to the written instructions or the purposes of seller and buyer.
- What are the benefits of Trust Account for Real Estate?
It promotes mutual trust between buyer and seller, high secure and transparency in settlement of a real estate through ACLEDA Bank.
- How can I get a Trust Account for Real Estate?
- Having an account with ACLEDA Bank whether it is a Savings Account, Demand Deposit Account or Current Account
- Filling Trust Account for Real Estate's application form and contract/agreement
- Buyer is required to deposit his/her funds into the Trust Account for Real Estate by the date and amount agreed in the agreement
- How does ACLEDA Bank charge for using Trust Account for Real Estate?
ACLEDA Bank charges with the amount of settlement below:

- What is Trust Services?
Trust Services is a deposit service that ACLEDA Bank is responsible for maintaining, administering, and arranging customers' assets (individual or corporate) to use in specific purposes that are set forth in an agreement between customer and the bank.
- How many types of Trust Services does ACLEDA Bank offer?
ACLEDA Bank offers 3 types of Trust Services such as Individual Retirement Account, Health Savings Account, and Education Savings Account.
- How can I benefit from an Individual Retirement Account? And what is its interest rate?
- Individual Retirement Account is used to cover your personal or family expenses after retirement
- Having an account with ACLEDA Bank whether it is a Savings Account, Demand Deposit Account or Current Account
- Initial deposit and minimum balance is only US$50
- Interest rate of 5% per year
- Can I make withdrawals before my retirement date?
Yes, you can, with service charge of US$50.
- How can I benefit from a Health Savings Account? And what is its interest rate?
- Health Savings Account is used to cover beneficiary's health care expenses based on agreement made in the terms and conditions of ACLEDA Bank's Health Savings Account
- Having an account with ACLEDA Bank whether it is a Savings Account, Demand Deposit Account or Current Account
- Initial deposit of US$50 and minimum balance is only US$10
- Interest rate is deposit's interest rate plus 2% per year
- Besides health care expenses, can I make withdrawals for other purposes?
