ACLEDA VISA Debit Card

  1. What is ACLEDA VISA Debit Card?
    ACLEDA VISA Debit Card is an electronic plastic card loaded with latest technology based on the EMV (Europay, Master and VISA) / Memory Chip to provide stronger security that recognised by VISA Inc. and used its system and logo, with ACLEDA Bank and VISA logo, the card is created by ACLEDA Bank to allow customers to make withdrawals through any ATM and payments via any POS throughout Cambodia and around the world where the VISA or VISA Plus logo is displayed.
  2. How can I receive ACLEDA VISA Debit Card?
    • Opening an account (Savings, Current, or Demand) with ACLEDA Bank;
    • Having a residential address in Cambodia;
    • Having a minimum account balance of US$100 for individual and US$1,000 for corporate customers.
  3. After applying for ACLEDA VISA Debit Card, how long will the card be issued?
    After you apply for ACLEDA VISA Debit Card, you will receive the card in 5 to 7 days.
  4. How does ACLEDA Bank charge for applying for an ACLEDA VISA Debit Card and what is its monthly fee?
    ACLEDA Bank doesn't charge for applying for a new ACLEDA VISA Debit Card. The monthly fees are as follows:
    • US$0.50 for ACLEDA VISA Debit Card domestic;
    • US$0.90 for ACLEDA VISA Debit Card international.
  5. How much can I make payments and withdrawals per day? And how many transactions can I make per day?
    • Making withdrawals through ATM and POS up to US$1,000 per day (US$200 per day via POS);
    • Making payment through POS up to US$2,000 for ACLEDA VISA Debit Card domestic and US$4,000 for ACLEDA VISA Debit Card international per day;
    • Making payment over the internet up to US$2,000 per day;
    • Maximum transaction made through ATM and POS is 10 times per day.
  6. What should I do if my ACLEDA VISA Debit Card is lost or damaged?
    If your ACLEDA VISA Debit Card is lost or damaged, please call us at +855 (0)23 994 444 to block the card and then come to our nearest branch to fill in a card cancellation form and a new ACLEDA VISA Debit Card replacement form.
  7. How much does ACLEDA Bank charge for a card replacement?
    ACLEDA Bank charges US$7.00 for a card replacement.
  8. If I already have an ACLEDA Card, can I apply for an ACLEDA VISA Debit Card?
    If you already have an ACLEDA Card, you can apply for another ACLEDA VISA Debit Card.
  9. How much does ACLEDA Bank charge for making payments or withdrawals via ACLEDA VISA Debit Card?
    You can use ACLEDA VISA Debit Card to make payments for any product or service with a fee charge as follows:
    • Making payments
      • Free of charge for making payments in Cambodia through POS or other electronic terminals where the VISA or VISA Plus logo is displayed;
      • Charge 1% (for currency conversion) of transaction amounts overseas.
    • Making withdrawals
      • Free of charge for making withdrawals through ACLEDA Bank's ATM;
      • Charge US$2.00 for making withdrawals through ACLEDA Bank's POS;
      • Charge US$4.00 for making withdrawals through other banks' ATM or POS in Cambodia;
      • Charge US$4.00 plus 1% (for currency conversion) of transaction amounts overseas.
  10. What can I do with my ACLEDA VISA Debit Card operate at other banks' ATM?
    You can use your ACLEDA VISA Debit Card to make withdrawals and check account balance at other banks' ATM.
  11. How many ACLEDA VISA Debit Cards can I apply with an account?
    • For an individual account, you can apply for only one ACLEDA VISA Debit Card;
    • For a joint account or corporate account with condition of signature "Any one of the above my sign" is selected, you can apply for one card for each account holder or the person who is authorised to sign.

ACLEDA Card

  1. What is ACLEDA Card?
    ACLEDA Card is an ATM Card issued by ACLEDA Bank to enable such holder to operate the account through its Automated Teller Machines for cash withdrawal or settlements of goods or services in shops, hotels, or companies that have a Point of Sale (POS) machine and operate other transaction through electronic terminals. ACLEDA Card let customers operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week for their most convenience.
  2. How can I receive ACLEDA Card?
    • To receive ACLEDA Card, you have to open an account (if you don't have one with us) and bring one of following documents (identity card, family book, passport, or document which is certified by local authority)
    • Then fill in ACLEDA Card application form.
  3. After applying for ACLEDA Card, how long will the card be issued?
    • Any customer who applies for ACLEDA Card at any ACLEDA Bank branch located in Phnom Penh will receive ACLEDA Card after 3 working days.
    • Any customer who applies for ACLEDA Card at any ACLEDA Bank branch located in provinces/towns will receive ACLEDA Card after 5 working days.
  4. How does ACLEDA Bank charge for using ACLEDA Card?
    ACLEDA Bank doesn't charge for using ACLEDA Card; no card fee, no monthly and yearly service fee.
  5. How much can I withdraw via ACLEDA Card per day? And how many transactions can I make per day?
    You can withdraw up to a maximum of US$1,000 per day and up to 10 transactions per day.
  6. Can I withdraw money through ACLEDA Bank's province/town branches via ACLEDA Card? How does it charge the fee?
    You can withdraw money through ACLEDA Bank's province/town branches via ACLEDA Card and the bank doesn't charge the fee at all.
  7. Where can I apply for ACLEDA Card?
    You can apply for ACLEDA Card only at ACLEDA Bank and any nearest ACLEDA Bank's branch.
  8. What should I do if I lost ACLEDA Card?
    If you lost ACLEDA Card, please call us through phone number +855 (0)23 994 444 to block the lost card and then fill in a Card Cancellation Form and a new ACLEDA Card Replacement Form.
  9. How much does ACLEDA Bank charge for the card replacement?
    ACLEDA Bank charges US$3 for a new card replacement.
  10. How can I use ACLEDA Card?
    In order to use ACLEDA Card, you need:
    • An ACLEDA Card
    • 6 digits Personal Identification Number (PIN) provided by our teller
    • Understanding about ACLEDA Card's terms and conditions that detail explained by our officer and
    • ACLEDA Bank's ATM location.
  11. What are the differences between ACLEDA Gold Card and ACLEDA Card?
    ACLEDA Gold Card is used to make withdrawals and payments in larger amount than those from ACLEDA Card through ACLEDA Bank's ATM and ACLEDA POS. Monthly fee and cash withdrawal fee are only applied with ACLEDA Gold Cards.
  12. How can I receive ACLEDA Gold Card?
    To receive ACLEDA Gold Card, you have to open an account with ACLEDA Bank (if you don't have one yet) and then fill the ACLEDA Card Application Form.
  13. After applying for ACLEDA Gold Card, how long will the card be issued?
    After applying for ACLEDA Gold Card, you will receive the card within:
    • 3 working days for applying at ACLEDA Bank's branch in Phnom Penh
    • 7 working days for applying at ACLEDA Bank's branch in provinces
  14. How does ACLEDA Bank charge for using ACLEDA Gold Card?
    One card is charged US$0.50 or KHR2,000 per month.
  15. How much can I make withdrawal and payment per day for one card, and how many transactions per day?
    With one card you can:
    • make cash withdrawals up to US$3.000 per day through ACLEDA Bank's ATM and US$200 per day via ACLEDA POS
    • make payments through ACLEDA POS up to US$5.000 per day
    • make cash withdrawals and payments via ACLEDA Bank's ATM and ACLEDA POS up to 10 times per day
  16. Can I use ACLEDA Gold Card to make withdrawals at ACLEDA Bank's branches across province/town? How does it charge?
    Yes, you can use ACLEDA Gold Card to make withdrawals through ACLEDA Bank's ATM in any province/town and ACLEDA Bank charges US$2 or KHR8,000 per transaction.
  17. Where can I apply for ACLEDA Gold Card?
    You can apply for ACLEDA Gold Card at any nearest ACLEDA Bank's branch.
  18. What should I do if I lost ACLEDA Gold Card?
    If you lost ACLEDA Gold Card, please call us on +855 (0)23 994 444 or +855 (0)15 999 233 to block the lost card as soon as possible and later fill in a Card Cancellation Form and a Card Replacement Form.
  19. How much does ACLEDA Bank charge for a new card replacement?
    ACLEDA Bank charges US$5 for a replacement.
  20. How can I use ACLEDA Gold Card?
    In order to use ACLEDA Gold Card, you need:
    • ACLEDA Gold Card
    • 6 digits Personal Identification Number (PIN) provided by our teller
    • Understanding about ACLEDA Gold Card's terms and conditions explained by our officer before providing the card to you
    • Knowing ACLEDA Bank's ATM location and ACLEDA POS in shops, supermarkets, hotels and many other places.
  21. If I already have an ACLEDA Card, can I apply for an ACLEDA Gold Card?
    Yes, you can apply for an ACLEDA Gold Card.
