Blood Donation from ACLEDA Bank Plc's Staff

Phnom Penh — April 05, 2012 — ACLEDA Bank has announced today that 2012 is the 20th Anniversary of ACLEDA. ACLEDA Bank has prepared a blood donation event which its staff at all levels participated in order to rescue all the victims and patients who need the blood transfusions.
The blood donation is under the national program of the Ministry of Health to receive the voluntary and charitable blood donation to help people getting treatments such as operation, unusual baby delivery and other treatments, especially traffic accident which is noticeably rising, said Dr. HOK Kimcheng, in response to the appeal by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The blood donation will be reserved and used properly to rescue people's lives in case of emergency.
Besides participating in developing the national economy through financial services, ACLEDA Bank Plc. has also taken part in other social and charity events by financial contributions through Cambodia Red Cross and in developing national and international human resources in banking and microfinance through ACLEDA Training Center, said Mr. IN Channy, President & CEO of ACLEDA Bank Plc. Today, ACLEDA Bank Plc. participates in another important social and charity event by setting up a blood donation event to receive voluntary and charitable blood donation from 580 staff at all levels, in which 177 from Phnom Penh and other 403 from provinces, in order to contribute to the government for rescuing the victims and patients in need of blood.
